Billy & Hells is a duo of photographers Anke Linz from Nuremberg and Andreas Oettinger from Munich. They started out in fashion photography and later, somewhat by accident, stumbled upon a technique that would define the style of their subsequent work.

Photographers have found that combining a black-and-white slide made from a color negative with a color photograph produces beautiful photographs with fantastic effects. Thanks to this technique, the colors come out muted, but at the same time a strong, deep effect is created. As a result, we can see the amazing footage below.

The duo's "Cowboys" series has become a finalist for one of the most prestigious awards in the photography industry, the Hasselblad Masters.
