By Pictolic https://mail.pictolic.com/article/in-the-usa-they-chose-the-ugliest-dog-in-the-world.htmlIn the struggle for the not-so-euphonious title, 14 quite cute dogs clashed, among them was a wrinkled mastiff, a slightly nervous Chinese crested, a hairy Pekingese and an incredibly charming bulldog with a long tongue.
The winner of the competition, held in California, was a 9-year-old English bulldog named Zha-Zha. Its owner Megan received $ 1,500, a trip to New York and, of course, an honor and a storm of applause.
The hostess does not consider her pet a freak — she is proud of his shortcomings and is glad that now Zha-Zha will become a real star.
It was the bulldog's long tongue that became his ticket to the top of the podium. And what kind of nails… Does everyone see them?
By the way, the contest does not exist to make fun of unusual dogs. Its organizers say it's a fun and harmless way to show people that no matter how animals look, they still deserve love.
The competition was held for the 30th time - the dogs were distinguished by funny fur (too thick or partially absent), fashionable hairstyles, fatal looks and long tongues.
The animals walked with their owners on the red carpet, and the judges evaluated them. Less words, let's look at these miles!
