Glacier in all its beauty - thanks to new technologies
Photographer Mikael Buk explored the world of the Vatnajökull glacier with the help of renowned Icelandic guide Einar Sigurdsson. He shot on a Sony α7R II camera, equipped with the world's first full-frame back-illuminated sensor.
Thanks to the new Sony technology, all shots were taken without a tripod, additional light and were not subjected to Photoshop processing. The photographs captured the intricate structure of the ice and the marble walls of the ice caves.
