After receiving permission, he conducted two separate photo shoots: one in a "boring" forest in northern Germany with young and inexperienced soldiers, and the second in the German Alps, with a group of elite special forces.
And although the photographer himself positions his work as a conceptual look at the problems of conflicts and wars, the pictures are also very instructive from the point of view of military camouflage methods on rough terrain.

At the same time, although the photos show real hidden snipers, many of the viewers question the authenticity of the images, which seems very funny to Menner.
