In her studio she makes all kinds of pots, bowls and even candlesticks. What distinguishes her from many other potters is her unique and sometimes grotesque approach to the design of her products.
"I love clay. I love sculpting faces. I like to sculpt faces out of clay. I am happiest of all in the world when I have all my hands and an apron in clay and a cute little scary face looks at me from clay," says the artist.
Each of her products has its own special face, which is the central element of the design. In certain circles, her style is called "folklore art", because her characters often resemble the heroes of folk legends and fairy tales. There are goblins, angry orcs, and even a couple of spirit-possessed pumpkins. Lucky has her own store on Etsy, where you can buy some of her "wild, but cute" creations.
