Why We're No Longer Afraid of Bats

By Pictolic https://mail.pictolic.com/article/why-we39re-no-longer-afraid-of-bats.htmlFor some reason, people are afraid of bats. Probably because they fly at night, feed on blood (in fact, only three species drink blood), carry rabies (again, less than 1 percent carry the virus), and are not very pretty.

We want to set the record straight and show that bats are cute creatures that aren't going to drink your blood, but would rather eat a tasty fruit or insect. Plus, they make great pets.

They love smoothies too.

Is it really possible to be afraid of these little ones?

They love to cuddle too.

They have very mobile ears.

Like all pets, they love to be scratched.

Mmm, watermelon.

It seems bats just love to eat.

Captain Jack Sparrow is certainly not afraid of them.
