BuzzFeed editor Viktor Stepanov tried 12 types of cat food and assessed the quality and taste of each type separately. Victor says that he always wanted to know what the taste of the feed advertised on TV is. Smiling people from the TV claim that the food is very tasty and healthy for your pet. Cats seem to like it too. But Victor could not get used to the idea that we give cats food, about the taste of which we know nothing.

Victor has a dog, and, according to him, dogs will eat absolutely everything. Cats are more selective in this regard.

So, the editor bought 12 types of cat food, which can be found in any Russian city, and tasted them.

Schesir tuna and papaya The first impression is that it tastes like chicken broth, although the packaging promises the taste of tuna with papaya. Not a hint of papaya. As a big fruit lover, I am very disappointed.

Purina Friskies with beef and lamb First impression — I didn't feel anything remotely resembling meat. Maybe my taste buds were already dulled by the end of the experiment, but I didn't recognize any beef or lamb.

Stuzzy Cat with ham First impression — maybe the producers of this food will deceive the cat, but not me. The packaging promises the taste of Italian ham — prosciutto, so, there is none. It's anything but prosciutto.
