The interior design of this Rolls-Royce Phantom car was ordered by businessman Clarence Gasque for his wife in 1926. The luxury car, which was also called the "Phantom of Love", was improved by Charles Clark and Sons. The main requirement was to recreate the interiors of the Palace of Versailles.

During the upgrade of the car, so many expensive materials were used that in the end the interior turned out to be more expensive than the body and other components. The total price of the car was 6,500 pounds, and its alteration took ten months.

The chief designer of the company at that time was Mr. Bennett. He wrote out a French master who spent nine months creating a tapestry for the back seats. It cost another 500 pounds — in those days you could buy a house for that money. Sitting in the back, passengers could also admire the naked cherubs painted on the ceiling.

A bar cabinet is also installed in the rear compartment, the doors are lined with mahogany panels, a French gilded bronze clock, porcelain vases on each side and a makeup cabinet are installed.

In 1952, the car went to a Rolls-Royce collector, who sold it in 1989 to a collector from Japan. Then he disappeared from sight for a while, then in 2002 he was restored in the USA and sent to England, where the car was stored until that moment.
