The blind clairvoyant Vanga, who at one time predicted September 11 in the United States, the earthquake in the Indian Ocean in 2004, which gave rise to the deadliest tsunami in modern history, and the UK's exit from the European Union, had predictions about events that should happen in 2018.

Vangelia Gushterova, who was born in Bulgaria and died there at the age of 85, is credited with the gift of foresight of the future, which allowed her to see natural disasters and other important events for humanity. Before her death, the woman managed to predict the future until the 51st century - that's when, in her opinion, the end of the world will happen.

It is believed that the clairvoyant, who was also nicknamed Nostradamus of the Balkans, predicted that in 2018 China would bypass the United States and become a new superpower, surpassing America both in terms of GDP and in terms of influence on world processes. Journalists also note that, although China does show quite rapid economic growth, it is difficult to talk about world leadership yet.

But on Venus, according to the Bulgarian fortune teller, "a new form of energy" should be discovered next year. At the moment, no space power is going to send research missions, so the discovery of a new type of energy is unlikely to take place in the coming years.

It is believed that in 1989, Wang predicted the terrorist attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001: "Fear, fear! The American brothers will fall, pecked by iron birds. Wolves will howl from the bush, and innocent blood will flow like a river."

About the UK's withdrawal from the European Union, Vanga said that by 2016, the Europe we knew would no longer exist.

According to relatives, the Bulgarian soothsayer also foresaw the emergence of an extremist army that would flood Europe. It is believed that these words were about ISIS (an organization banned in the Russian Federation).

Vanga's name has become popular over the past decade, despite the fact that many of her predictions have not come true at all, and the gift of clairvoyance itself is being questioned. Nevertheless, her alleged prophecies, recorded by her loved ones, still cause a worldwide stir.
