But in reality, amateur photos of stars are far more interesting. Taken with a non-professional camera, without special lighting or props, they show not "celestials" but ordinary people. They, like us, fool around, feel sad, and go about their daily lives. American producer Michael White has created a substantial collection of these types of images, the kind you won't see in magazines.

Michael White was a British theatre impresario and film producer whose 50-year career was closely intertwined with the world of Hollywood celebrity. Extravagant and witty, he remained the life of any party and never missed an opportunity to appear at social events, even in his later years.

While interacting with actors, producers, athletes, and politicians, White took photos with a regular Polaroid camera. He wasn't aiming to create a gallery of portraits, but simply to expand his personal photo album. This is why many of White's photographs are prized by fans of Hollywood stars more than iconic shots by renowned photographers.

We've compiled a series of Polaroids by Michael White, in which Hollywood stars look completely at home. These are shots of warm get-togethers with friends, not boring, staged photoshoots. Some of the photos are of poor quality, but that doesn't make them any less valuable.

These photos show that behind the glamorous facade of the red carpet, celebrities are ordinary people with their own emotions and habits. Do you think it's important for us to see stars in their truest form, or is it better to maintain the image of "perfect idols"?
