Pedro was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and moved to the United States in 2012 to pursue an education.
In June 2015, he started a series of photographic essays about people on the West coast of the United States. The photographer was interested in ordinary people like you and me, who also had plans and dreams, but who for some reason was on the street or in a homeless shelter.
"The idea of my project is quite simple — I went up to him and getting to hear their stories myself something to tell, and then, if they give permission to publish their pictures and our conversation. The purpose of my project is to attract more attention to the thin line that divides society and homeless people. I hope to split this massive social wall that transforms some people into the invisible to others."
