By Pictolic https://mail.pictolic.com/article/the-power-of-colors-the-reverse-side-of-pit-bulls.htmlTraditionally (and often very rightly) pit bulls are considered extremely aggressive and dangerous dogs. Sophie Gamand, a photographer from France, decided to show their bright side by shooting a series of portraits of dogs called "The Power of Flowers".

1. Sophie Gamand shot all the heroes of her portraits in an animal shelter.

2. "In my opinion, the fact that these dogs are considered psychopaths is a myth," Sophie Gamand is sure.

3. At the same time, she admits: at first it was difficult for her to overcome the fear of these dogs.

4. Gradually, Sophie Gamand managed to cope with distrust - even though she was attacked by a large dog as a child.

5. "The more time I spent with model dogs, the more comfortable I felt. All dogs are different, and the pit bulls I met in shelters are amazing and loving animals," says Sophie Gamand now.

6. She hopes that people will be able to overcome their prejudices about pit bulls.
