Many news photographers in droves around significant events, and their photographs often reflect a single vision, which does not stand the test of time. They are professional but predictable. Obviously, these are the norm in most news publications. But it is quite another thing – photos by Arthur Pollock. Major news events and small private moments in his bedroom preceded today's digital street photography. Over the decades, and they still seem fresh and relevant. If not for the signature, you might think that many of them made recently. In some cases, even before us a classic.
