Those who have tried this drink admit that it is very strange: it seems that there is pure water in the glass, but it tastes and smells like ordinary Coca-Cola.

Soon, a new variety of Coca-Cola Clear transparent soda will go on sale in Japan, and later, perhaps, all over the world. Although such a drink was already drunk in Moscow — after the Second World War Marshal Zhukov got hooked on it: Americans personally produced and supplied colorless Coca-Cola for him.

The Japanese continue their experiments on Coca-Cola: not so long ago they released an alcoholic version of the drink, and now they have taken up the color of soda.

On June 11, Coca-Cola Clear, an absolutely transparent drink with a lemon flavor and zero calories, will be on sale on the Japanese market. The concept of the novelty was created by the Japanese division of Coca-Cola, after which specialists from the United States refined the recipe for about a year.

The journalists have already tried the novelty and were satisfied, although they admitted that the new version of cola has much less sweet taste — unlike regular cola, there is no sugar caramel in the colorless version. Namely, caramel turns traditional cola brown.

Although this method has a significant drawback — there is almost no carbon dioxide in the resulting drink, therefore, in order to return it to normal taste qualities, a siphon will be required.
