Dana Vulin heard a knock on the door of her house and opened it - the wife of one of Dana's friends was standing outside. The jealous woman doused Dana with ethyl alcohol and set it on fire - presumably for a conversation with her husband at a party.
The woman fled the scene, leaving Dana with third-degree burns on two-thirds of her face and body. Dana almost burned alive - miraculously survived. After coming out of a coma, the unfortunate Australian wore a mask for two and a half years - her burned face was too ugly. In addition, Dan was wearing a kind of spacesuit all the time, which, in turn, hid the deformity of the body.
It took surgeons 30 months to restore the girl's face. In addition, Dana was diagnosed with cervical cancer, but she also defeated this ailment. Dana is a real fighter and the one who in English is called a survivor.
