Just look at the incredible video with the cat inside the post, which seems to be staring at the audience. At first glance it is impossible to distinguish it from the real thing.

An artist named Miru from the Japanese prefecture of Tokushima has become famous online for her incredible animal figurines that she felts from wool. Looking at her work, you understand why her felt animals are such a fan on social networks.
Mira first learned about the art of felting in 2010, when she saw a master working with wool on a TV show. Then she tried felting herself, but quickly realized that she couldn’t do it without knowing the basics. She found a tutorial and over 8 years of painstaking work developed her own style and methods of working with wool.
