On Sunday, October 29, the hurricane "Gervart" hit Europe, the wind speed reached 180 kilometers per hour. The central and northern parts of Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland were affected. At least six people became victims of the disaster. In several German lands, train traffic was suspended and power supply was interrupted, and an emergency situation was declared in Berlin.
