The guy decided to save this baby, not even knowing how to take care of him

An ordinary guy from Florida, Jeff Longo, was walking one hot day and suddenly noticed a tiny creature on the sidewalk. It turned out to be a newborn, still blind squirrel, only three centimeters in length. The guy was confused, but then he realized that he could not leave him to die on the hot asphalt. He took the baby home and began to nurse her. Jeff called the baby a Cookie.

When the young man posted the first photo of the Cookie in the social network, many wrote to him that the cub is doomed and Jeff will not cope, because he is not a zoologist and does not know anything about animals. But he continued to feed it with the mixture and keep it warm, as his mother would have done. Faith, patience and care did their job — from the squirrel grew the sweetest, smartest and cheerful flying squirrel. Cookie and Jeff are now best friends.

When Jeff found the squirrel, it was tiny.

At first, Jeff couldn't even figure out what kind of animal he had picked up.

People said that this helpless creature would not survive.

But the guy was determined. Just like the Cookie.

The baby grew and soon opened her eyes.

She loved to sleep on her master's stomach.

Cookie was welcomed into the family.

Jeff fed and warmed the squirrel.

Then she had her own corner in the house.

Cookie is very fast, fun and loves to play hide and seek.

She's very attached to Jeff.

Most of all, she likes to sit in his pocket.
