After all, it is then that the person she is waiting for most in the world comes — her favorite garbage collector Delvar Dopson, who picks up garbage in the area where the girl lives with her mother.

Brooklyn's mom told me: "It all started with the fact that the daughter always ran up to the window to wave to him. Then she started running outside to greet the garbage man. One day we missed garbage collection time, and I had to drive around hoping to find a garbage truck, and all for the sake of waving my hand." Delvar, by the way, also always greets the baby.
