Craig and Joan Lyons have been friends for over 30 years. But until recently, Joan had no idea that Craig was always in love with her. The man said that he fell in love with his future bride the moment he saw her - then they were 14 years old.

And a year and a half ago, Craig finally decided to talk about his feelings and made his beloved a marriage proposal. And just a few days ago, the couple got married in Liverpool. However, their wedding became known far beyond the county. The fact is that right at the wedding, the beautiful bride was shaved bald.

The couple in love wanted to get married a little later, but they had to reschedule the date.

Craig learned that he was terminally ill - pancreatic cancer in the terminal stage.

And then Joan decided to support her best friend and fiancé and prove to him that she loves him no matter what and will fight with him to the end.

The bride decided to part with her hair and donate it to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that makes wigs for kids who are struggling with cancer.

Craig was very touched by the act of his beloved, and he once again repeated that Joan was the woman of his dreams.
