While some might argue to be avid fans of the Lord of the Rings, this Brazilian tattoo artist has gone one step further by transforming himself into a true "orc": his nose has been removed, his ears disfigured and his skin tattooed in blue.

Fernando Franco de Oliveira has tattooed about 99 percent of his body, including his eyeballs, which are now completely black, and even horn implants attached to his head.

A tattoo artist who owns a studio in the southern city of Tatui near São Paulo has admitted that he is "addicted" to the pain of needles.
De Oliveira acquired the vampire's forked tongue and teeth, but according to him, the most painful and life-changing operation was the removal of his nose.
