One of the most fascinating games in these parts is the study of small stones of unusual shape that resemble something or someone. The artist Stefano Furlani, being an adherent of preserving traditions, passed this passion to his son David when he was three years old. He was immediately imbued with this gift of nature. Using his imagination, he began to search diligently for unusual stones with unique geometries.
Father and son collected and laid these stones together, sitting on the beach under an umbrella. So they began to create more and more complex and detailed compositions. The only problem was that after creating the stone paintings, one could only watch them being destroyed by the tide. This gave Stefano the idea of putting the stones on a wooden base and making them real paintings.
