Dame Zaha Hadid, one of the most influential and brilliant architects of the 21st century, has died at the age of 65 from a heart attack.

The creations of the Iraqi-British architect in neo-futurism style have become one of the most famous in the world. Among them are the Heydar Aliyev Center in Azerbaijan, the Vitra Fire Station in Germany, the Guangzhou Opera House, the Lewis and Richard Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Art in the United States, and the Aquatics Center in London, which has become one of the main venues for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. in 2012.

Spectacular and always inspiring, Zaha Hadid was the first woman to receive the 2004 Pritzker Prize (an award for achievements in architecture, considered the equivalent of the Nobel Prize), and later became the only woman to be awarded the Royal Gold Medal of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
