Surfing legend: Robbie Maddison rides a wave on a motorcycle
Australian stuntman Robbie "Maddo" Maddison became the first to ride the waves off the island of Tahiti on a motorcycle - like on land. To perform an incredible stunt, he was helped by engineers who crossed motocross and surfing by putting skis and a tire on the bike. In just 17 hours, the video of the incredible run has amassed almost eight million views on Facebook.
Prior to this, Robbie trained for two years - the speed of riding must be very high so that the motorcycle does not go under water. “It's not about being first or being right, it's about believing in yourself,” says Maddison.
