Surfing in Russia is a reality!

Surf Siberia is a project about people in the vast expanses of our homeland, a project about surfing in Russia, about the fact that there is an opportunity everywhere and in everything, there would be a desire and firm convictions in bright undertakings. The creators of the project are discovering new, unknown places and want to show everyone that we also have waves - and in order to taste the surfer's lifestyle, there is no need to leave for warmer climes.

The ideological inspirer and founder of the project, Konstantin Kokorev, travels with friends to different parts of our country in search of the best waves.

For a long time, the project remained only an idea, which was not possible to implement, but gradually a group of people was formed who were ready to do it.

The first episode was filmed in Kamchatka in winter and became more of a test of strength, as the conditions were really difficult.

Inaccessibility of spots (about 8 km had to be walked along with boards and filming equipment), winter frosts and snowfalls, not to mention sub-zero water. But all this did not stop the guys, and they decided to move on and discover new places.

An episode was filmed in Sochi, which turned out to be sincere and dear.

Then again Kamchatka, this time in the summer.

Now in the process of filming two new episodes, one of them is filmed in the Arctic Ocean. Three trips have already been made to the north-west of Russia in the Murmansk region, in the region of Teriberka and the Rybachy Peninsula. If in a nutshell to characterize these trips, it will be "harsh north".

And at the moment, final preparations are underway for a trip to the Kuril Islands, which starts on September 8th. They promise an excellent forecast for the waves. The guys will live for almost two weeks in tents on the ocean.
