By Pictolic https://mail.pictolic.com/article/spectacular-private-house-in-a-former-stable-building.htmlThe modern culture of consumption often involves the destruction of something old in order for something new to take its place. Of course, this is very convenient: why fix a thing if you can just throw it away and buy a new one in its place? But with such a consumerist lifestyle, humanity has forgotten how to appreciate things with history, without thinking about how the production of new goods will affect the environment.
Fortunately, not all representatives of the modern generation are like that: there are craftsmen among us who are ready to tinker with the reworking of antiquity for a longer time in order to obtain an excellent result. One of the brightest examples is an excellent residential building in the Dutch town of Breukelen, converted from an old stable building.

3. The internal arrangement of the premises has not changed, there are also interesting details reminiscent of the past of this building, for example, decorative cast horse heads and saddles.

4. Thanks to the huge windows and light shades in the interior, the living space turned out to be open, letting in a lot of sunlight and very cozy, and the latest technical innovations and modern finishing materials gave the house the necessary level of comfort.
