Smithsonian Photo Contest 2016 Finalists

In total, the final shortlist included 70 photos competing for victory in seven categories: Nature, Travel, People, Mobile Photography, American Experience, Altered Image and Sustainable Travel.
The winner of the first place in the general competition and the winners in each of the nominations will be announced by the jury on March 22. In addition to the main awards, the organizers also hold a competition for the Audience Choice Award: you can vote for your favorite photo on the SPC website.
