Small worlds of London: emigrants in national costumes
Categories: Photo project
By Pictolic https://mail.pictolic.com/article/small-worlds-of-london-emigrants-in-national-costumes.htmlDaniel Steer is a German photographer who has been living in London for the past 15 years and who still never gets tired of admiring African women in taffeta. Inspired by them, he toured the city's expat communities to photograph the newly minted "Londoners" in their national costumes. And here is the result - "In My Country" - a series of incredible shots with Aztec goddesses against the backdrop of skyscrapers and baubles hung with elf-like Balinese dancing against the backdrop of dreary London cafes.
