On the body of old Europe is full of countries-jokes, having some characteristics of statehood, but seriously the independence of not counting.

New Slovenian art, Macao

A state called New Slovenian art was formed in 1991 from the same informal organization, which, in turn, for seven years before it was created by a Slovenian music group Laibach. Physically New Slovenian art is impossible to visit, as it does not have its point on the map, but you can become a citizen and even obtain a passport. It is argued that today, the New Slovenian art more citizens than the Vatican.

Kugelmugel, Austria

And this is the little virtual state, its diameter was only of 7.68 meters — because it all fits in a single round building, owned by a local artist. He had "irreconcilable" differences with the Austrian authorities — he wanted to build a house, but the authorities did not want to allow. The house eventually was built and became the independent state — the Republic of Kugelmugel. It happened in 1984. The artist refused to pay taxes, and even began to print their own stamps, for which almost roared in prison saved his only personal pardon of the President of Austria. The house, however, is eventually confiscated and transported to the Prater in Vienna and was turned into a tourist attraction.

Alcatraz, Italy
