Scientists have found out why women need an orgasm

It has long been noticed that the female orgasm is a mysterious phenomenon and even not quite logical. If for a man orgasm is an almost obligatory phenomenon during intercourse, then for women everything works differently, and the highest pleasure is given as a compliment and not always. For a long time, the exact purpose of the female orgasm was unknown, but recently the answer to this riddle was still received!

There are countless hypotheses explaining the nature of the female orgasm. It was even assumed that it was part of the natural mechanism of creating a pair. The lady, experiencing ecstasy, as if gives the man to understand that he is great and is perfect for her to live together.

The second most popular hypothesis states that the contraction of the pelvic muscles during orgasm helps sperm penetrate deeper into the uterus and increases the chance of fertilization. But all these were just guesses expressed by theorists and not confirmed by experiments and instrumental studies.

Scientists at Yale University have found the exact answer, having spent a lot of time and effort on research. The result was published in the scientific journal "Experimental Zoology, Part 2: Molecular and Changing Evolution". It turns out that female placental mammals, which include humans, produce two hormones in the body — oxytocin and prolactin.

These hormones are inextricably linked with ovulation — without them, egg maturation is impossible. The body produces oxytocin and prolactin in especially large quantities during orgasm, so the pleasure given to a woman is an important part of the procreation process.

That is why a man who wants a child from his woman should think not only about his satisfaction, but also about his partner's orgasm. And in general — orgasm is good for human health and psyche, and sometimes it can even cure diseases!
