Two friends from the UK founded a small business selling children's gifts, which brought them 20,000 pounds (about 1.9 million rubles) in just a couple of weeks. Women have long wanted to open their own business, and quarantine did not stop them. Find out how British women managed to succeed from our material.
Best friends from Essex, 30-year-old Laura Boswell and 29-year-old Laura McBride, launched the business during the pandemic. For a year they were preparing to open an online store, when suddenly a pandemic came. The women had two options: either continue to act according to the plan and open sales of children's gifts, or let everything go down the drain.
The British women decided not to destroy their dream and on April 12 opened the company BabyChum. Their risk was justified. In just the first two weeks, they earned more than 20,000 pounds (about 1.9 million rubles). It took a lot of effort and time for friends to create a business. The online store of goods for children has become an extension of the ParentChum website, launched by women in November last year.

All British sellers are found through social networks. For the opportunity to sell products on the BabyChum website, owners charge a 12% commission on sales. At the same time, they help sellers to make a description of the goods and upload photos. Now there are about 120 sellers on the trading platform of the site.

If sales continue at the same pace, then by the end of the year the owners of the site will earn 300,000 pounds (about 28 million rubles).
The case will always be crowned with success, if you are not lazy and believe in your own strength. A young British woman became a millionaire, having gone from an object of ridicule to a famous businesswoman.
