They met when were students in the school of design of Rhode island. On endless seminars became so close friendship these girls, which led to the fact that in 2014, Melanie moved to Amsterdam. It was there they founded their Duo of photographers called "Sisters, not twins". Constantly blurring the boundaries between documentary photography and theatre in their work, they became a portrait of female friendship and Muse for each other.
