Photos of the Romanov family, who you've probably never seen

A close friend of the last Imperial family of Russia did a series of informal photographs of the Romanovs, which had as many as six albums. These albums are now stored in the library of rare books and manuscripts Beinecke at Yale University. Suggest you look at some of them.

1. Empress Alexandra. She, along with her husband and five children, was executed on 17 July 1918 during the Revolution.

2. Alex. Alex was the youngest of five children at the time of his death he was 13 years old. He was the heir to the throne.
