French photographer from Paris Julien Knez found retrophotographs taken between 1871 and 1968. In the photos you can see what the streets and people of Paris were like at that time. Then Julien photographed the same sights from the same angle and combined modern images with retro.

When you look at these works, it seems that the French photographer managed to open a window into the past, to the Parisian streets of the late 19th — early 20th century.
