In the largest national park in Europe, the Icelandic Vatnajökull, there is a glacier, inside of which a stunningly beautiful cave is hidden. Photographer Einar Sigurdsson Runar captured the breathtaking scenery inside the cave, which once again proves that nature is perfect.

3. Water flows inside the Vatnaekul glacier. Do you know how ice caves form? This is due to melted glacial waters that flow down and destroy the lower layers of ice. (Photo: Einar Runar Sigurdsson/Rex Features).

4. The sun's rays penetrate inside the glacier, so it is warmer inside the cave than outside. (Photo: Einar Runar Sigurdsson/Rex Features).

13. An interesting fact: visiting the Vatnajökull glacier by tourists was almost impossible until motorized sleds were invented for the expedition to Grimsvotn in 1947, and then in 1951 the French-Icelandic expedition successfully used caterpillar all-terrain vehicles called "snow cats".
