46-year-old Tommy Simonsen, a professional photographer, one of Karl's friends, admitted that the adventurer's friends hoped that the situation would take a serious turn.
The bearded Norwegian posed with a soulful smile, hugging an iceberg, despite the temperature of about two degrees.
Tommy said that Carl, for no apparent reason, asked if he could pose naked on an iceberg.

Fortunately, the adventure ended successfully: Karl did not fall into the water, and even a thermos of warm water was not useful.
