Nature restores balance: swans and fish have returned to the canals of Venice

Local residents also noted that swans returned to the city, which were previously frightened by gondolas with thousands of tourists. Positive changes in water quality in canals and in general in The Venetian lagoon is visible to the naked eye - this is evidenced by numerous photos and videos posted by local residents on social networks.

Crowds of tourists and even the Venetians themselves disappeared from the streets of the beautiful city on the water — the Italian authorities forbade the population of the country to leave their homes without a valid reason. Therefore, sociable and active Italians are forced to sit at computers and near televisions.

Traffic in the canals of Venice has completely stopped and because of this, water pollution with household garbage and petroleum products has practically stopped. The townspeople are surprised to notice how quickly nature takes its course — first fish began to be noticed in the water, and later swans returned to the city, which were very rare here.
