Vietnamese artist Nguyen Xuan Huy was born in Hanoi in 1976. He now lives in Berlin. In his paintings, he takes the best from various aspects of art history and uses the aesthetics of pop art to rework the heavy legacy of the Vietnam War. We are also talking about birth defects caused by the use of chemical weapons by American troops. These defects appear even after three generations.
