This film became one of the most famous in the history of Soviet cinema, gaining such wide popularity that sometimes the epithet "cult" is applied to it, and the characters' phrases have become firmly established in the colloquial Russian language and have become catchphrases.
On the anniversary of the premiere, we decided to review the film for bloopers, which no film can do without - and it's even more interesting that way.
Sukhov, it turns out, was in no hurry to dig Said out. Judging by the length and direction of the shadows, almost half a day had passed from the moment of the meeting to the start of the rescue.
Sukhov's wife carries a yoke with empty buckets in the general shot, but in the close-up the buckets are full of water. In addition, the woman manages to pick up her skirt with both hands while carrying the yoke, crossing the stream.
Again, the general plan differs from the close-up, and the carried away box of dynamite in the following scenes returns under the head of the lying aksakal.
Vereshchagin glances at the wall with photographs, and the arrangement of objects on the table changes.
And the women of the liberated East somehow quickly learned to speak (and even read) Russian.
Said shoots his carbine almost in bursts without reloading. And the stuntmen deftly pull the ropes tied to the front legs of the horses...
Without boots.
Wet and disheveled after the fight, Vereshchagin, when the shot changes, appears with a neat hairdo at the helm.
And the most important question: when (and how) did this bunch of Basmachi manage to paint the barge, lift it off the sandbank and anchor it?
