The best series was the project of the Russian photographer Elena Anosova Out-of-the-Way, in which the author explores the homeland of his ancestors in Siberia — the same project was previously on the list of winners of the World Press Photo contest. Also among the winners in this category were Areg Balayan from Armenia — the jury noted his series on the Nagorno—Karabakh conflict - and French photographer Antoine Bruy.

The winners in the category "One photo" — Jonathan Bachman for a picture of a participant in the protests in defense of the rights of the black population of the United States, American Susan Okin for a portrait of an elderly man called "The Last Decade" and French photographer Sandra Mel — a photo of an 11-year-old girl from the city of Montpellier brought her the prize.

The works of eight more participants were awarded a special mention by the jury. Among them is the Canadian photographer Victoria Sorochinsky, who shot a project about a Ukrainian village. All photos of the winners and finalists of the contest can be found on the website of the LensCulture magazine.
