By Pictolic https://mail.pictolic.com/article/iphone-photography-awards-2013.htmlOn August 15, the winners of the 2013 iPhone Photography Awards were announced.
The iPhone has been one of the most popular photography smartphones in the world for several years now. Since 2007, iPhone photographers have been able to submit their work to the iPhone Photography Awards. A professional commission chooses the most spectacular and unusual photos taken with an Apple smartphone.
One of the main conditions of this competition is the minimum processing of photos. Formally, the use of filters and programs that improve the quality of the frame is not prohibited, but experts prefer the skillful use of the camera, combined with the good work of the author in choosing the shooting point, lighting, frame composition.
It is thanks to the skill of the photographer (well, and the progress of cameras in new iPhone models) that many shots look like they were taken with professional equipment. By the way, not only amateurs, but also professional photographers take part in the competition for several years. Holley Wesly is the 2013 iPhone Photographer of the Year. The prize went to a portrait of a horse against the sky.
