Leonid Pavlovich Baranov is a famous Ural artist. He was born on August 11, 1955 in the Kargapol grain farm of the Kurgan region. In 1984 he graduated from the Sverdlovsk Art College named after. Shadra. He taught at the art school, worked at the Sverdlovsk Film Studio and in the workshops of Rosmonumentiskusstvo. Since 1987, he has been a freelance artist. Leonid Baranov's works are in many private collections in Russia and abroad. Currently lives and works in Pervouralsk, Sverdlovsk region.
