We have already written about the hurricane on May 29 and how to protect yourself from the elements. Many citizens in the last two days remembered the hurricane of 1998, which claimed nine lives.

But Moscow experienced the most devastating disaster 100 years ago, on June 16 (29 old style), 1904, when more than 100 people died and more than 800 Muscovites were injured. We have collected photos with its consequences.
