HIV-infected gay man became the face of Cosmopolitan magazine
The British magazine Cosmopolitan continues to break stereotypes in the fashion world. After the publication invited plus-size model Tess Holliday to star for the cover, it chose a man as its new main character. For the cover of the January issue of the magazine, the star of the queer show "Straight through the eyes of a gay man" Jonathan Van Ness was photographed.
Jonathan Van Ness is a well—known American hairdresser, TV presenter and podcast creator. This year, Jonathan admitted that he has known for seven years that he is HIV-positive.

In the picture, 32-year-old Van Ness poses in a lush peach dress by Christian Siriano and Nike sneakers.

It is worth noting that the last time a man appeared on the cover of Cosmopolitan 35 years ago — then the famous musician Boy George starred for the publication.

Jonathan Van Ness is a well—known American hairdresser, TV presenter and podcast creator. This year, Jonathan admitted that he has known for seven years that he is HIV-positive.
