Hilarious album covers of Soviet musicians

Categories: Culture

Music album covers are a specific genre of fine art of the last century, moreover, relatively young. Only in the late 1970s did cover design become an art form and for the next decades defended its right to exist.

As in any endeavor, this genre has had, has and, undoubtedly, will have its ups and downs, as well as epic failures. It was not only Western or Yugoslav artists of the past who instantly lost their sense of beauty when they released their music albums and chose something truly creepy for the cover.

Soviet musicians, beloved by millions, also did not go far.
