The population of not much more than 600 people.

The national Park is visited throughout the year more than 700 thousand tourists, but it seems that the lion's share falls on the New Year and for the month of January. But even at this time there is no feeling that the tourists are sitting next to each other on the head.

Water world Bay is very rich. It can be noted a very large number of fish that live here, although it is not as bright as on the Great Barrier Reef and dolphins can often be seen from the shore. Despite the hot summer weather, the water in the Bay is not much warming up.

One of the beaches (Hyams beach) is listed in the Guinness Book of records as the possessor of the white sand in the world.
