Hats for newborns

These cute baby hats will keep your little one warm on cold days. Photographer Amy Marquez took a series of photos with mega-cute babies and babies in super-cute hats. Babies are photographed in their sleep or when they are ready to fall asleep.

1. All the kids in these photos are no more than 10 days old. They spent about three hours with Amy, of which she filmed them for only a few minutes, and the rest of the time she waited for them to fall asleep.

2. “Photographing newborns in this style is not easy, especially when they are naked,” says Amy.

3. "Most need to be kept warm all the time, so I had to turn on the heater or even put a heated pillow under them."

4. “Most of the time at the photo shoot is occupied by changing diapers, feeding and cradling, because the main thing here is the child.”

5. "Most of my models are not even 10 days old."

6. "Their bodies are still flexible after being in the womb, but soon their backs start to get stiffer."

7. Amy has been making portraits of children for two years now, she knows how to work with even the most naughty children.

8. “I had a 4 day old newborn who refused to sleep horizontally. The only time he could fall asleep was when his mother held him upright.

9. “Then I asked if my mother had a big flower pot.”

10. “Her husband was a gardener, so we quickly found a suitable flower pot that the little one could sleep upright in.”

11. “I carefully laid the baby down, after spreading the blankets on the bottom. I even had a hat that matched the color of the pot perfectly.”

12. “Mom really liked the photo, and dad was glad that his flower pot came in handy.”
