Italian photographer Gabriel Galimberti became interested in these memories and wanted to learn more about different grandmothers around the world and their cooking. Therefore, he went to travel around the world and photograph grandmothers from different countries along with their "signature dishes".

"Delicacies with Love" is a project in honor of all grandmothers who demonstrate their love to their grandchildren with food. You can only smile with emotion, looking at these photos, in which proud grannies show off their signature dishes. So, meet grandmothers from different countries and their signature cooking.

1. Castiglione Fiorentino, Italy. Grandmother: Marisa Batini, 80 years old. Dish: ravioli with leaf beetroot and ricotta.

2. Mumbai, India. Grandmother: Grace Estibero, 82 years old. Dish: chicken vindaloo.

3. Homer, Alaska, USA. Grandmother: Susan Soresen, 81. Dish: moose steak.

4. Jakarta, Indonesia. Grandmother: These Rumiati, 63 years old. Dish: soto betavi (beef soup with coconut and vegetables).

5. Stockholm, Sweden. Babshuka: Brigitte Fransson, 70 years old. Dish: incoct-lax-a (boiled cold salmon and vegetables).

6. Massa, Morocco. Grandmother: Aya Banks, 62 years old. Dish: chicken tajine.

7. Veracruz, Mexico. Grandmother: Laura Rons Herrera, 81 years old. Dish: vegetable tamale.

8. Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Grandmother: Flatar Nkube, 52 years old. Dish: sadza (white maize flour) and pumpkin leaves, boiled in peanut butter.

9. Kekava, Latvia. Grandmother: Inara Runtule, 68 years old. Dish: silke (herring with potatoes and cottage cheese).

10. Kalulushi, Zambia. Grandmother: Joyce Muape, 49 years old. Dish: inkoko nama (fried chicken with spices).

11. Bangkok, Thailand. Grandmother: Bunlom Thongpor, 69 years old. Dish: kai yat sai (stuffed omelet).

12. Whitehorse, Canada. Grandmother: Cathy O'Donovan, 64. Dish: "bison under the midnight sun".

13. Istanbul, Turkey. Grandmother: Ayten Okgu, 76 years old. Dish: carniyarik (stuffed eggplant with meat and vegetables).

14. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Grandmother: Thilaga Vadhi, 55 years old. Dish: nasi lemak (coconut rice with vegetables and fried anchovies without oil).

15. Bububu, Zanzibar. Grandmother: Mirayi Moussa Kheir, 56 years old. Dish: vali, mchuzina mbogamboga (rice, fish and vegetables in mango sauce).

16. El Nido, Philippines. Grandmother: Carmen Alora, 70 years old. Dish: kinunot (shark meat in coconut soup).
