Giant Insects by Francis Pryor
Categories: Animals
By Pictolic https://mail.pictolic.com/article/giant-insects-by-francis-pryor.html19-year-old amateur photographer Francis Prior uses a Canon 550D camera and PLAN lenses, which are designed for microscopes, to shoot insects.
Francis installs lenses on the camera using a special adapter. He uses two IKEA unidirectional LED lamps for lighting, and Zerene Stacker, a program for processing photos of complex macro subjects, as a photo processing program. With the help of such simple devices, Francis photographs details invisible to the human eye.
After Francis captured all the spiders and insects hiding in the corners of the rooms in his parents' house in Halewood (Halewood), outside of Liverpool, he created his own photo studio. It takes him more than six hours to get one good shot.
