French photographer Antoine Brouy has been traveling for several years on the farms of Europeans hiding from time and taking pictures of their everyday life. The photographer puts the resulting frames in a series of Scrublands.

El Pardal, Sierra de Cazorla, Spain
El Pardal Farm was founded in 1986 in a nature reserve near the Sierra de Cazorla mountains in Spain. For the last quarter of a century, a German named Amiro has lived here. The nearest village is three hours away on foot.
Vincent
Vincent was a mathematician until he went to live in Ramounat, a famous settlement in the French Pyrenees, in 2007.

The settlement of Ramounat was built by the German Peter and his family. Later, the family left, but Peter stayed. In this house there is almost no electricity, all the necessary energy its residents get from the solar panel.
